Bear Blog Question Challenge

This is a response to Ava's blog's Bear Blog Challenge, it looked fun so I wanted to participate.
The Questions
1. Why did you make the blog in the first place?
A: I've always wanted to make a blog, I find writing to be cathartic. It's nice to get things off my chest, showcase things I'm passionate about, and maybe shoot some advice out into the either. You never know if something you post could help even one person get through a tough time, or discover someone with a mutual interest
2. Why did you choose Bearblog?
A: I just kinda stumbled upon this video, Basic Guide To The Personal Web. Bearblog was recommended, I liked the philosophy behind the site and the simplicity coupled with the customization. Just checked all the right boxes.
3. Have you blogged on other platforms before?
A: I've vlogged, but that was kinda the extent of it. I've wanted to start a blog before, just never found a platform that speaks to me (until I found Bearblog).
4. Do you write your posts directly in the editor or in another software?
A: Directly into the editor for no real reason other than it's just convenient.
5. When do you feel most inspired to write?
A: I'm kinda always inspired to write to some extent. I carry a pocket journal with me at all times, and will write about my thoughts if I'm able to take a moment. Sometimes I'll have an idea in my head and will write down the concept so I don't forget. Then I get home and start writing.
6. Do you publish immediately after writing or do you let it simmer a bit as a draft?
A: Usually just publish immediately. I feel like if it's not a piece I need to be particular about and can be more off-the-chest, then I just publish once I'm done.
7. Your favorite post on your blog?
A: I only have two as of writing this, so I guess What Classic Halo Means to Me would be my favorite. It was a lot of fun to just write about my special interest and reminisce on childhood memories.
8. Any future plans for your blog? Maybe a redesign, changing the tag system, etc.?
A: Since I'm still in the learning stages of this platform, this blog will be a site of constant revision as I go along. Changing CSS, adding tags, etc. I plan on posting more of my creative writing projects on here too.
