Why the name Absurd Pirate?

The "absurd" part of the name comes from absurdist philosophy. One of my favorite books The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus introduced me to this concept. Absurdism essentially seeks to solve the issue of inherently meaningless universe and one's struggle to find meaning in it. Camus essentially identifies three parts to living an absurd life: revolt (we must not accept any so-called "answer" in our struggle, be it religion, suicide, escapism, etc.), freedom (the understanding that we are free to think and behave as we choose), and passion (pursuing a life to the fullest).

As for the pirate part, idk. I've just always had pirate-related online monikers.
