If you've read the gazette by now, you've probably seen that Cris is retiring from social media entirely. Blogs, the gazette, the whole bit in an admirable attempt to try and make more connections in real life.
Cris is the reason I got introduced to the group I would call my friends. He found one of my posts, the one on all my relationship fuck-ups, and invited me to join the server. I was the 10th person to join.
In that time, I've gotten to know some really great writers that I collaborate with regularly; people that I would call my friends.
I appreciated Cris's kindheartedness, vulnerability, and sincerity. He was always the group's number one fan. Whenever I saw a read from Latvia, I knew it was him. I'm truly wishing him all the best as sad as I am to see him go.
Ava will be taking over as server owner now. The gazette marches on. But our friend is going to touch grass, and we will miss him.
So, here's to you Cris.
